ABOUT ME |
|
Raised in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, Kirb Lim started out failing his first term Photojournalism class. But, he put his artistic abilities together and passed successfully for the year. Shooting sports was a main focus during his teen years and he became the sports editor/photographer for the yearbook during his senior year. After high school, Kirb became a freelance photographer during the construction and demolition of the 1986 World Exposition in Vancouver. Learning his trade by experience and working with others, Kirb soon began shooting weddings (for the free food!) and was well on his way to a successful photography career. He worked his way up to become a studio manager and then left Vancouver to travel the world while working as a cruise ship photographer.
Now in his 25th year as a professional photographer, Kirb, specializes in scenery, model and event photography. He now resides with his wife, Heather, and daughter, Calleigh, near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
